CHAR KUEY TEOW
Char Kuey Teow is something that you must try when you are in Malaysia, especially when you are in Penang! There's nothing quite like this plate of flat rice noodles, short, fat crunchy bean sprouts and a handful of kuchai (garlic chives), a few prawns, a dollop of ground chilli paste, and cockles, fried up with chopped garlic.There are various versions of Char Kuey Teow available all over Malaysia but the best ones are in Penang.
Price range is about RM 4.00 to RM 7.00.

 NASI LEMAK

Nasi Lemak is a fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk or "pandan" leaf commonly found here in Malaysia. With roots in Maly culture its name in Malay literally means "fatty rice", but is taken in this context to mean "rich" or "creamy". Nasi Lemak is dereived from the cooking process where by the rice is cooked with coconut cream and then steamed.

NASI DAGANG

Nasi dagang is a Malaysian dish fish consisting of rice steamed in coconut milk, fish curry and extra ingredients such as fried shaved coconut, hard boiled eggs and vegetable pickles. Nasi dagang literally means "Trading Rice". It is a well-known breakfast food in Terengganu and Kelantan. The most famous Nasi Dagang comes of Terengganu comes from Kampung Ladang, an area within Terengganu District.

SATAY

There are a number of well-known outlets in Kajang, Selangor which is dubbed the State City in the country. Satay Kajang is a generic name for a style of satay where meat chunks are bigger than normal and the sweet peanut sauce served along with a portion of fried chilli paste. Given its popularity, satay Kajang is now found throughout Malaysia. Stalls and restaurants around Kajang offer not only the more traditional chicken or beed satay but also more exotic meats such as venison, rabbit or fish, as well as gizzard,liver and a number of other variations.
